Food was good, I wouldn't order the gyro salad again. The meat was weird and I thought I was ordering extra banana peppers in it but it came with diced green peppers. Dressing was very good. I've always had my eggs cooked exactly the way I wanted them.Their soups are homemade and are excellent. The stuffed pepper soup is a favorite. I also like their cheeseburger soup.My new favorite sandwich is the BLT club with an egg added on. From Canada, but was in town for the Pro Football Hall of Fame induction ceremony, and was recommended to try the place by someone who worked at the hall. Although we got our food “take out” , my wife and our daughter came here earlier in the week to eat after an early movie. It was my wife’s first time of eating here. Our daughter and her boyfriend come here often and they were talking about the service and atmosphere here which is why I gave it 5 stars. The food is PHENOMENAL! I'm a little hesitant to rate a place like this that seems like a local institution, but...I live about an hour north and I've been here twice. The first time was several years ago and it was amazing so I decided to bring my family back when we were in the area.The good- The owner is very friendly and a true professional. It's clean, the wait staff is awesome (you will get the right amount of attention and refills), the cream of potato soup was heavenly, and the fries and gyro dishes are good.The issues- I ordered an eggplant sandwich and it wasn't what I thought it would be. It was like a very soggy grilled cheese sandwich with large chunks of eggplant and some marinara. Someone else in my party ordered liver and the amount was very small. Liver runs about $3/lb in the store, so you'd expect at least 8 oz. Lastly...the potato pancakes. They were fried cakes of mashed potatoes. In northern Ohio where Eastern European food is common, most diners serve potato pancakes made with shredded potato, flour, and egg, fried until crispy, and accompanied by sour cream and applesauce.read more

Nice little quaint restaurant tucked away in a shopping center. The cod was good, just needed some more seasoning. The lemon was odd as without cracked pepper, I have only used lemon on salmon. We have been here at least three times the past two months. Staff is friendly. Place is clean. In fact they are always cleaning when we were there. One time I had the rueben with fries. Must have been a half pound of corn beef on there. Great sandwich and the fries were the perfect golden brown. Another day had the Greek Gyro sandwich. The waitress brings out a huge bowl with about four pounds of green leave lettuce,pita bread and gyro meat. Plan on being there awhile, its going to take awhile! My friend had the spaghetti and meatballs special. He said they were the best, he was surprised the meatballs and sauce was so good. Another time I had the taco salad. It was good, just would have liked more taco filling in it. Still good though. Another visit was all you can eat fish. The fish was greasy and some were overcooked. Still, more good pieces than bad. We plan on going back. Its worth it and they have great daily specials. Their cheesecake is worth giving it a try.read more

We had a bad experience this time in. Our food took a really long time to get there, and when it did come, they took it to the wrong table. When they finally brought it to us, we had no silverware, no syrup for our pancakes, no toast that came with the order. We finally got silverware but our food was cold. They finally, half way through the meal brought my toast and it was burnt so I asked for that to be fixed only to receive it after we were done eating and I asked for it twice. I still give Pete's 5 stars because it is one of my favorite family places to eat and I understand that there are times things happen and people get busy. Pete was very understanding and gave us half off our meal due to all that happened. I ordered a chicken sandwich that was absolutely amazing. The chicken was moist and flavorful and the whole sandwich worked well together. My friend ordered a philly sandwich that she just couldn't stop eating. The portion was large. Serving staff was very friendly. I only gave 4 stars because we were on a tight time frame (friend was a 1 hour lunch break) and we had to wait a little for the check. Otherwise, no complaints at all. Great food! Friendly staff!
